We don't believe in cutting corners in our design or offering inferior bikes and charging a fortune for better components. The concept for Brooklyn Cruiser developed over many years of world travel. We saw the natives in countries around the globe ditching the automobile and opting for the simple commuter bike as their primary mode of transportation. Quiet, affordable, and fun, the bicycles eliminated traffic jams and exhaust while providing a way for the locals to get some invigorating outdoor exercise as part of their daily routine. Most of all, the people we saw on bicycles looked like they were ENJOYING their commute. Quite the refreshing change of pace from the automobile-driven urban gridlock we had grown accustomed to.
Our urban bicycles are designed so you don't have to sacrifice style for your ride. Quite the contrary. Three-piece suits, white coats, expensive shoes--not a problem. It doesn't matter if you're heading to work, out for a relaxed breeze around the neighborhood, or on your way to a chic restaurant.
